Senior Information Technology Auditor (Houston)

About the Role :

Our Client is hiring a Global IT Senior Internal Auditor I to lead and execute IT audit engagements across global operations. This role requires a confident communicator who can quickly understand business processes, identify risks, and propose practical solutions. Youll lead audits, review workpapers, draft reports, and mentor junior team members. The position offers a mix of independent work and team collaboration, with up to 20% travel expected.

Responsibilities :

• Lead SOX 404, SOC 1 / SOC 2, and operational audits
• Conduct walkthroughs, testing, and issue identification
• Review and finalize audit documentation
• Communicate findings and action plans to senior IT management
• Draft audit issues and reports
• Mentor junior auditors and support knowledge sharing
• Track remediation efforts and follow up on issue closure
• Own ad-hoc reviews and special projects

Compensation : Up to $110k

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
