Estimated Weekly Salary Estimated Weekly Pay Range : $1990 - $2130 per week PCU RN Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Assignment Location : Albany, NY 12208 (New York healthcare jobs) Unit : Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Start Date : December 7, 2025 End Date : March 8, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 12 Hour Days (7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM) Hours per Week : 36 Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs required EMR : Epic EMR experience required Weekend block schedule may be considered Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State Minimum 1 year of recent PCU or adult ICU nursing experience ACLS certification required Proficiency in advanced hemodynamics, pressor titration, and medical / surgical patient care Experience with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) Ability to pass a nursing competency test within 48 hours of submission Excellent communication and teamwork skills PCU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, trauma, and surgical complications Manage advanced therapies : antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, arterial lines, CVP, EVD, ortho traction, and infection prevention protocols Utilize HFNC, BiPap / CPAP, and oxypendent devices for respiratory support Maintain a patient load of approximately 3 high-acuity patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
