General Characteristics Responsible for sourcing and recruiting IT professionals for the enterprise.
Works with management to define candidate qualifications.
Interprets the organization’s recruiting strategy, identifies sources, develops and executes recruiting plans to meet the organization’s technical staff needs.
Utilizes multiple channels to recruit candidates, which may include, but is not limited to, colleges, job fairs, Internet, employee referrals, recruitment firms.
Identifies, screens and interviews qualified candidates.
Conducts background checks and obtains references in accordance with established procedures.
Must possess working knowledge of information technology used in the enterprise and understanding of skills required for each technical position.
Must have ability to establish strong relationships with various recruitment sources to secure a candidate pool as needed.
