Civil Engineering Technician preferred 0-2 years utility coordination experience a plus Software experience using MicroStation / ORD / Connect and Microsoft Office required AutoCAD experience is a plus Ability to take verbal direction and implement into drawings and calculations to produce the final work Good communication skills and strong understanding of plan clarity
Responsibilities
- Support senior CAD designers with transportation projects in Ohio and support project development in other regions
- Assist engineers and CAD designers with transportation projects with tasks such as drafting and design, creation / editing of technical drawings and materials for submittal packages
- Support completion of engineering calculations using Microsoft Excel
- Support creation of construction specifications using Microsoft Word
- Conduct project site visits
