Role Summary

The VP of Tax and Treasury will be a strategic leader responsible for designing and executing global tax and treasury strategies that align with our growth trajectory and IPO readiness. This role requires a forward-thinking expert who can navigate complex international tax landscapes, optimize capital structure, and ensure compliance while positioning the company for public market success.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Strategy & Compliance

Develop and implement global tax strategies (direct / indirect tax, transfer pricing, IP taxation) to minimize risk and optimize cash flow.

Lead tax planning for M&A, restructuring, and cross-border transactions.

Oversee tax compliance, audits, and relationships with global tax authorities.

Ensure IPO-ready tax structures, including SEC compliance and SOX controls.

Treasury & Capital Management

Manage global cash operations, forecasting, and liquidity risk mitigation.

Execute FX risk management and international cash repatriation strategies.

Develop treasury policies for post-IPO public company requirements.

IPO & Public Company Preparedness

Partner with CFO and auditors on IPO tax disclosures and financial reporting (GAAP / IFRS).

Model tax implications of public ownership (e.g., Section 162(m), equity compensation).

Establish controls for Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance and public company treasury operations.

Leadership & Collaboration

Build and mentor a high-performing global tax / treasury team.

Collaborate with Legal, FP&A, and Accounting to align financial strategies.

Advise executive team on tax / treasury impacts of business decisions.

Match Your Experience

20+ years of experience in tax and treasury coupled with experience at a global tech / high-growth private and public company.

Proven leadership in IPO processes and public company tax / treasury functions.

Deep expertise in international tax (BEPS, Pillar Two), transfer pricing, and SEC regulations.

Big 4 public accounting experience is strongly desired.
