POSITION OVERVIEW
KKR is seeking an experienced Employee Relations (ER) Consultant to support the design, development, and implementation of KKR’s new, global ER function. This role will partner closely with the Global Head of ER to support the buildout of the strategy, roadmap and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The individual will play a crucial role in ER transformation planning by designing processes that deliver efficient and best in class protocols and ways of working. The core responsibilities will have both strategic and execution responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and refine a comprehensive employee relations strategy in alignment with Legal
- Design the operating model for the ER function, including governance structures, escalation protocols, case management workflow and reporting metrics
- Develop a roadmap and project plan for the phased rollout of ER services, tools, and communications
- Create and implement policies, procedures and templates related to investigations, grievances, disciplinary actions and performance management
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Human Capital Business Partners, People Operations, Benefits and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and sound practices
- Conduct a gap analysis of current ER-related practices and make recommendations for improvement
- Provide guidance on best practices in ER across the investment and financial services industry
- Support training and enablement materials against the SOPs
Skills : QUALIFICATIONS
years of experience in Employee Relations, Human Capital or Employment Law with a track record of implementing and / or building ER functionsDemonstrated experience in project management and large-scale transformation projectsDemonstrated ability to craft effective policies, design frameworks and lead cross-functional implementation projectsStrong knowledge of employment law, regulatory requirements, and industry trends in ER strongly preferredExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skillsProven experience managing confidential and sensitive issues with discretion, sound judgment, and integrityExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skillsExperience working in financial services, investment management, or similarly regulated industries strongly preferredEducation :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; advanced degree or certification (, JD, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) a plus
