Position Summary The Senior Facilities Specialist (SFS) reports to the Senior Associate Director of Operations & Logistics and oversees administrative operations for the Driver-Helper Unit, including transportation, events support, shuttle operations, training, waste management, and logistics. This includes the overall management of transportation services, waste management operations, athletic team support logistics, scheduled and unscheduled shuttle operations, asset relocations, coordination of surplus assets, and staff training. The SFS supervises assigned bargaining unit staff that may include full time, part time, student, and temporary employees; recommend and / or implement policy and procedural changes; respond to questions about services and / or facilities, from students, parents, internal and external customers; participate in the financial success of the operation; provide a safe and secure environment for employees, students and customers; work with various University departments and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal government agencies. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Must have a valid US driver's license or the ability to obtain one if hired.
