This is a new role here at the company and we need a go-getter to manage our shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. And I should mention; this position will also be responsible for getting out of the plant and doing a little driving in our company vehicles, so a valid license is required.

Job Summary :
The Production Control Clerk is responsible for ensuring that sufficient quantities of required raw, sub-assembly, or finished goods are properly stored in assigned inventory locations or are staged timely in designated areas for scheduled production work or transport to other the company facilities. The Production Control Clerk also drives company vehicles to vendors or to other the company facilities in California. The Production Control Clerk is responsible for all LTL and small parcel shipping and receiving.

Duties / Responsibilities :
- Receiving- Responsible for accurate physical and electronic receipt and timely put away of all materials from outside suppliers and company inter-plant stock transfers. RMA, relevant return activities
- Shipping- Securely pack and ship various products and materiel to customers, vendors, and other company plants. Main point of contact for all carriers
- Warehouse- maintain clean, organized, accurate, and well-marked inventory locations in four small Nevada warehouses. Ensures all parts are safely and accurately stored or pulled
- Safely drive company vehicles to and from sub-contract service vendors and multiple company locations across two states, transporting raw materials and finished customer products. Ensure accurate physical and electronic transfers and all required communications and documentation
Required Skills / Abilities :
Safety focusedForklift certified (ok if lapsed), sit down lift trucks and stand-up pickersMRP / ERP / WMS experience requiredBasic MS office, good computer skills and understandingGood basic math skillsReliable, flexible, self-starter, organized, cleanClean driving recordAble to work independently.Other duties (not comprehensive)
Cycle counting, regular inventory reportingWarehouse maintenance, 6S, location managementParts pulling for manufacturing orders. This requires driving between warehouses.Lot-tracked inventory managementChemical handling (experience a plus)Vending machine stocking and managementOffice supply and support. Ordering, pick-up, put-awayCompany vehicle responsibility. Clean, service record maintenance, straps and load management tools maintained and organized at all timesWilling to cross-train in production tasksReceiving freight shipments. This includes keeping track of upcoming shipments and making the necessary room for the goodsRecycling duties. Work with our local recycling yard to schedule the delivery and pickup of recycling totes. This will involve loading and unloading of the totes on the flatbed.Bathroom stocking. Make sure the bathrooms are stocked and work with purchasing to get items ordered when low.Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least two years' related experience required .
