Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center (COCMHC), Norman, OK is currently recruiting for Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals to join their facility to support the mobile crisis department.

We help individuals to build resilience through interactions and relationships.  We recognize the value each person holds and help to prioritize their needs while being mindful of their experiences.  What We’re Looking For :

  • Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or similar credentials) with a commitment to providing excellent care.
  • Passionate individuals ready to work in a collaborative environment across a variety of departments, including outpatient services, admissions, and children's mental health.
  • Professionals with a strong desire to support individuals with mental health and substance abuse challenges.

Job Type / Salary :

  • Full-time positions Licensed Salary : $70,000.00 ($33.65 / hr) + Benefits!

    • Shift :

  • 7 : 00 am - 3 : 00 pm FLSA Status : Exempt Additional Compensation :   Along with our great benefits we also offer addition compensation for working outside of normal business hours!

    • These shift differentials are stacked on top of your base pay wen working evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.  Minimum Qualifications and Experience :

  • Licensed : Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field; and must be a practitioner with a license to practice in the state issued by one of the following licensure boards : Psychology; Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, LADC / MH) Why Join Us?

    • About this Facility :

  • COCMHC was opened in 1968 and was the nation’s first community mental health center.
  • It was funded through a federal grant program that has resulted  in  similar  facilities  throughout the country.
  • Built on the premise that people suffering from mental illnesses would be better served in the community as opposed to an institution, the center has played a pivotal role in restoring the lives of countless area residents.

    • COCMHC was awarded a CARF Three-Year Accreditation for the following programs :

  • PACT (Program of Assertive Community Treatment), Evaluation and Referral, Adult Outpatient, Team Green PSR (Psychiatric Rehabilitation), Systems of Care and Transitional Services, and Child and Family Services.
  • COCMHC is located in Norman, Oklahoma and employs approximately 95 individuals from Norman and surrounding communities.
