Experience writing automated tests (e.g., end-to-end, UI, or API tests Familiarity with CI / CD workflows and test infrastructure. Clear owner mindset, concise communicator—comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced team. Experience with healthcare, compliance-sensitive systems, or structured documents (PDFs, HL7, FHIR, etc.) a plus. About the role
We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer to own the quality of our product across manual and automated testing. As our first QA hire, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing a QA strategy that supports our rapid development without compromising reliability. You'll collaborate directly with engineering, product, and customer teams to ensure we ship high-quality software, fast.
What you’ll do
- Own and evolve our end-to-end QA strategy (manual + automation)
- Design and execute test plans for new features, regression, and exploratory testing
- Identify, document, and help triage bugs across web apps, APIs, and backend systems.
- Partner with engineering to build and maintain automated test suites (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
- Set up and manage test environments and CI test pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Introduce QA best practices that scale with our team and product surface
