The therapist must hold a Connecticut license and possess a year of progressive experience in the field.

POSITION SUMMARY :

Administers therapeutic massage in accordance with prescribed standards and techniques. Provides massage therapy at ECHN rehab sites.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION

Graduate of an accredited school of massage therapy.

Must hold or is eligible for Ct license and have one year progressive experience in massage therapy.

6.       Identifies precautions and / or contraindications to utilizing massage techniques.

7.       Assists in marketing when appropriate.

8.       Ensures work area is safe and clear of obstacles.
