Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Locums - CRNA - Springfield, Illinois (Willing to License)

Start Date : ASAP

Contract Length : 3 months with option to extend

Shift Details : Mon-Fri, 5x8s (06 : 45 AM - 03 : 15 PM)

Amount of Coverage Needed per Month : Ideally full-time or 2+ weeks / month

Position Overview

Coverage across Inpatient (23 ORs), Outpatient (6 ORs), and GI Unit (4 ORs)

Outpatient cases : Healthy Peds, Plastics, Ortho, ENT, and more (No admits)

GI Unit cases : Screening, ERCPs, Bronchs, and more

Providers may see almost all Level I Trauma cases including general, trauma, ortho, GYN, robotics, etc.

Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular cases are handled separately in their Cardiac ORs (contact available for qualified cardiac CRNA)

Cases per day : 55-60

Anesthesia Care Team Model

EMR : Cerner

Practice Setting : Level I Trauma Center

Requirements

BLS and ACLS required

Willing to license (approx. 8 weeks for Illinois)

Minimum 1 year experience

Credentialing timeframe : 60 days (can run concurrently with license application; typically issued 2-3 weeks after documents submitted)
