Custodian / Maintenance Technician
Join our team! We are hiring for the role of Custodian / Maintenance Technician in the Maintenance Department. Work Schedule : 7 : 00 a.m. - 3 : 30 p.m. Monday-Friday
Essential Job Functions :
- Maintain cleanliness of City Hall, Public Safety Building, Street Department, and various city owned buildings.
- Perform cleaning duties, including but not limited to : sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, cleaning toilets, sinks, & mirrors.
- Maintain building grounds, including but not limited to : sweeping sidewalks, pulling weeds, emptying trash cans, & picking up debris.
- Perform seasonal duties, including mowing, raking leaves, and snow / ice removal.
- Perform routine maintenance throughout buildings.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools in performing minor preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Serve on 24-hour call for emergencies.
