Estimated pay package based on bill rate at time job was posted. Bill rates can

change frequently and without notice. Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours,

RNs with level I trauma center experience tend to do best in this team. Experience floating to a variety of ICUs highly desired. Must be comfortable and competent to care for icu patients in the following environments : neuro / trauma sicu, micu, cps / vicu, ccu. progressive critical care unit (pccu), and ICU / PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement.

Experience : Must have : 2+ years in a staff ICU position (minimum) not including travel assignments, preferably at a Level 1 trauma center. Must have some level of cardiac experience, as well as Surgical and Neuro ICU experience.

Unit Specifics :

Number of Beds : Critical Care has 100 beds amongst 5 units.

The ICUs are as follows :

Sugical / Trauma / Neuroscience ICU – B2

Medical ICU - MICU

Cardiology ICU - CCU

CVICU – CPS / VICU

Progressive Critical Care Unit – D3N

Unit staffing description – All of the ICUs have RNs, PCAs and ASAs.

Type of equipment is as follows for the ICUs :

B2 ICU – CRRT, Intracranial pressure catheters, EVD, Spinal drains, Brain oxygen monitoring, Arctic Sun, Continuous EEG, Non – invasive cardiac output, vents

MICU – CRRT, Arctic Sun

CCU – IABP, Impella, CRRT, PA catheters, Arctic Sun, Thermoguard, Transvenous Pacers

CPS / VICU – CRRT, IABP, Impella, CentriMag / ECMO, HM2 & HM3

D3N – EVD, A lines, central lines, EKOS.
