1st Shift (6 : 00 AM) & 3rd Shift (10 : 00 PM)
1st Shift ($21.00Hr) & 3rd Shift ($23.00Hr)
Position Summary
The Welder is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components using MIG and / or TIG welding methods. This role involves working with aluminum, steel, and stainless steel parts according to blueprints, work orders, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has hands-on welding experience, a strong eye for quality, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG and / or TIG welding on components made of aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.
Review blueprints and work instructions to confirm materials, components, and specifications.
Inspect parts and report any defects or equipment issues to the supervisor.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for safety, quality, and productivity.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
Complete assigned work accurately and within the required time frame.
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year of welding experience required.
At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
Familiarity with work orders and quality assurance standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to stand or walk for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work overtime and adapt to changing priorities.
Capable of working safely in a manufacturing environment.
