NEO Coordinator

As a NEO Coordinator, you will work individually and on the NEO team as a representative of MediaCross and our Client. You will report to the NEO Manager and work out of the CIVMAR Support Center at Naval Station Norfolk. Professionalism, accuracy and reliability are integral to this position due to the content managed, fast-paced nature, and high visibility with the client.

Responsibilities
Facilitating and supporting new employee orientation class activities with a detailed schedule; presenting briefings to large classes on relevant informationRun, analyze and distribute data utilizing Microsoft Excel and government databasesReviewing data submitted by potential employees to confirm their professional qualifications, ensuring employees meet all pre-employment requirements and minimum job qualificationsLogging and updating data into HRMS and HRMS Discoverer for new employeesScheduling potential employees for upcoming orientation weeks, including verifying personal documentationServing as main point of contact for all new hires, providing them with reporting instructions and assistance as needed prior to and during new employee orientationCorresponding with various departments to ensure training, processing, and scheduling are conducted smoothlyChecking employment eligibility through E-VerifyProviding exceptional customer service to all potential and current employeesManaging in-processing, delivery and transportation for Federal Official Personnel Files, CACs and other new employee onboarding paperwork.Meeting new employees off-site at the contract hotel and Naval Station Norfolk Pass and ID office to oversee transportation and assist with new employee access to base.Carrying and responding to the assigned Duty Phone during and after work hoursWorking flexible hours due to varying schedules and customer needsOther duties as assignedQualifications
Must be able to successfully undergo a government investigation in order to obtain and maintain a security clearance.Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent requiredAssociates Degree or Bachelors Degree preferredMinimum two years' customer service experience requiredProficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word requiredProficiency in Microsoft Excel requiredProficiency in working on a computer with a Microsoft operating system requiredData entry experience preferredProfessional and effective communication skills required, in-person, phone and emailMust be adept at and confident in public speakingMust be extremely detail-oriented and focused on accuracy.Must have the ability to multitask and effectively work within multiple databases.Must have the ability to adapt to changing situations and processesMust be able to quickly gain advanced knowledge of U.S. Coast Guard requirements, maritime credentials, and various processes.Works well in a team settingPhysical Requirements
