Network Incident Responder
Act as the primary incident responder for network events, ensuring immediate detection, investigation, and resolution of issues affecting critical platforms. Monitor and maintain network infrastructure in hybrid and cloud environments, proactively identifying and addressing performance, availability, and security concerns. Participate in an on-call rotation to respond quickly to urgent operational network incidents. Perform advanced troubleshooting using diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and traceroute while driving efficient root cause analysis and resolution. Automate operational processes and incident response tasks primarily using Python and Ansible. Optimize hybrid and cloud network deployments with hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS. Ensure all operational activities are aligned with FedRAMP, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements, supporting compliance and audit readiness. Prepare and maintain detailed incident records, technical documentation, post-mortem analyses, and operational runbooks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations, security, product, and support to resolve complex technical challenges and drive continuous improvement. Provide clear communication during incidents and share technical knowledge and best practices within the team.
