Role Overview

The Accounting Manager position is a hands-on role, responsible for accounting functions for multiple clients that include full-cycle month-end close, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and tax compliance. The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the general accounting for clients, assisting with the creation of financial statements and management reporting, managing the organization's cash, and assisting with the creation of departmental budgets and forecasts. Experience with developing and establishing policies and procedures within a corporation is highly preferred. The ideal candidate has worked at or with early-stage start-ups.

Role location is flexible / work from home, with preference given to candidates in cities where Attivo has an employee presence : San Francisco / Bay Area, Los Angeles / Southern California, New York City, Austin, and Boston. Candidates in other locations are welcome to apply. Some travel to in-person company events is required, approximately 2-3 weeks per year. In-person onboarding training will take place within the first 3 months of employment (locations vary).

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly financial statements and budget vs actual analysis
• Assist with financial modeling and forecasting for clients
• Manage Accounts Receivable — invoicing, collections, reviewing contracts
• Manage Accounts Payable — accurate entry, timely payment, and policy compliance
• Process employee onboarding, payroll, and terminations
• Mentor and train future team members

Salary Range

Attivo offers a competitive base plus bonus, with starting salary approximately $110,000 to $140,000 per year plus bonus.
