The Effectors Center within Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) seeks talented Systems Engineers. Our Effectors team located in Tucson, AZ integrate hardware and software, develop test plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, and verify system requirements in support of final sell-off to the customer. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. Every day is a different set of challenges to overcome.

You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement solutions. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts.

This position is an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. Test event support activity may require travel which is not expected to exceed 15%.

What You Will Do :

• Support planning and execution of Integration, Verification, or Flight Test activities in our labs, in the field, or at a test range
• Test event support activity may require travel, which is not expected to exceed 15%
• Support qualification of our products
• Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes and advanced use of lab or field test equipment
• Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations, including the use of analysis tools, such as MATLAB
• Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. More information about Security Clearances can be found on the US Department of State government website.

The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $107,000 USD. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and / or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
