Maintenance Worker

Envision Unlimited is a non-profit organization serving persons with disabilities throughout Chicago in community living and day programs. We have a great opportunity for a Maintenance Worker to join our team!

This position will perform basic general repair and building maintenance in residential homes and other day program facilities. Candidates MUST have experience in general maintenance / handyman type work; applicants with only janitorial and housekeeping experience will not meet minimum qualifications for this position.

Responsibilities include :

• Assessment of repair requirements including cost estimate and time to complete.
• Simple carpentry requiring use of hand tools.
• Exterior maintenance and occasional landscaping work.

Drywall repair / patching, priming and painting.

Requirements :

Location : Chicago

Work hours : Monday - Friday 8 : 00a - 4 : 30p (work outside these hours and / or days may be required)
