Project Manager
As a Project Manager at Actalent Services, you will lead and oversee complex engineering and design projects within the utility industry. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecyclefrom planning and design to execution and deliveryensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires effective management of project timelines, resources, budgets, and stakeholder communications. You will work closely with clients, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and construction professionals to drive successful project outcomes and foster collaboration throughout the process.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform medium to advanced-level project management work activities and projects requiring the application of project management knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient, and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives.
- Develop, review, and coordinate the project plan, schedule, budget, activities, materials, equipment, tools, and staff.
- Assist in developing and scoping documents, deliverables, and cost estimates.
- Assist in data gathering and analysis for the reporting on the project progress, scheduled deliverables, and budget.
- Identify, clarify, and make recommendations for solutions to project plan deviations and work-related problems with least impact and risk through analysis of reports and records; evaluate multiple solutions and interpret the results of the technical analysis.
- Hold contractors accountable to the system safety process.
- Provide recommendations as an active participant of a project management team; communicate and coordinate with customers and interconnected companies on issues.
- Support project management team members : provide guidance and training, as assigned; review work of other team members, as assigned.
- Utilize technical interfaces of project management and provide technical support to team.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering from ABET accredited universityExperience in project management with capital projectsExperience interfacing with engineering procurement and construction personnelExperience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $50.48 / hr.
