Corporate Controller (Contract Role)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Corporate Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial records on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will oversee the accounting team, maintain and enhance financial controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain compliance with government regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, facilitating audits and addressing inquiries.
  • Manage and maintain internal financial books, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all financial records.
  • Analyze financial transactions and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Implement and uphold accounting policies and procedures in line with GAAP standards.
  • Collaborate across departments to streamline financial processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience (57 years in a related role).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); CPA certification preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Financial Suite.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams effectively.
  • Proven ability to work independently, maintain attention to detail, and manage multiple priorities.
