About This Role :

This position is responsible for processing and funding loan applications accurately, and in a timely and efficient manner. The processor / funder must enjoy time spent “Customer Facing” and find satisfaction from developing and maintaining a strong positive relationship with Sources / Partners and Members. This role will also provide needed assistance to the entire USA Specialty Lending team as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and Review loan documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with all federal, state, local and company requirements.
  • Embrace and promote the “vision” of USA Specialty Lending internally and externally.
  • Facilitate loan closings with external third-party sources / partners.
  • Ensure complete loan packages are uploaded to the internal origination platform.
  • Maintenance of loan files in Meridian Link, OSI, and Laserfiche with detailed logs and notes
  • Verify all loan terms and transaction details including financing amount, dealer fees, rates, and other transactional attributes to ensure completeness prior to finalizing the loan.
  • Directly contact members as needed to validate transaction details and repayment information.
  • Maintain expert level knowledge of all products and services offered. Be able to explain to members as needed.
  • Establish new memberships within origination platform as needed.
  • Disburse funds through the core portfolio system.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures, including security compliance, and following guidelines intended to limit risk exposure to fraud and losses. Review exceptions and escalate when necessary.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws / regulatory requirements as related to functional areas including the Patriot Act, Truth in Lending, Reg B, Reg Z, and Bank Secrecy Act.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively.
  • Understanding of consumer and specialized asset documentation requirements.
  • Seeks constant improvement, always looking for ways to make processes operational smooth, efficient and eliminate unnecessary “friction”.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent member service.
  • Adhere to lending guidelines, banking statutes & regulations as well as Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Adept at utilizing technology and various software platforms to process information.
  • Sales and transactional processing experience.
  • Indirect or external lending experience preferred.

    In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base hourly range for this position is $22.15 - $26.57 , exclusive of fringe benefits or potential incentives. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus. If you are hired at USALLIANCE Federal Credit Union, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and / or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part is any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package.

    All positions must adhere to standard BSA / AML policies, procedures, and processes. Employees must demonstrate awareness of business functions and how business decisions affect financial and / or non-financial work results.
