We are hiring a Hospitalist and Nocturnist . A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Qualifications :
The candidate must be board certified / eligible.We accept both internal medicine and family medicine trained physicians. Hospitalist experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply.ACLS certification is mandatory.Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.H1B candidates invited to apply; access to Sound's in-house visa specialists as well as our licensing and credentialing experts.Practice in the Heart of the Community
Scheduling :
7 days on, 7 days off.Open day hospitalist position shift is 8 AM 8 PM and the nocturnist shift is 8 PM 8 AM.Daily coverage for all positions is :Eleven day rounding physicians (8a-8p) / day, one admitter physician (8a-8p) / day, one swing physician (10 hours shift 3p-1a) / day, and one nocturnist physician (8p-8a) / day.
Two day APPs (one rounding, one admitting 8a-8p) / day and two night APPs (cross cover and admitting) / day.Key Responsibilities :
Provide high quality, comprehensive medical care and post operative care to a 977-bed facility (241 beds covered by Sound).Manage responsibility of the floor pager and collaborate with the Nocturnist.Receive high volume of transfers from a broad referral area, including a Level IV trauma center, and comprehensive stroke center.Utilize EPIC EMR systems and Sound's internal informatics platform.Living and Working in Lubbock :
