job_description.job_card.job_descriptionResponsible to manage design contracts for the US Federal Government with a primary focus on Depart of Defense, Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Space Force, and National Guard projects. Demonstrated knowledge of : Unified Facilities Guide Specification (UFGS) (SpecsIntact) DOD Installation Design Standards Be responsible for compliance with budgets, financial and contractual requirements of projects. Directly manage small Minor Capital / SRM, as well and large complex projects. Provide technical leadership to project delivery teams. Establish and discuss project goals, objectives, design standards, and procedures with project personnel, Market Sector Leader(s), and Director of Operations. Coordinate and conduct internal meetings with staff and consultants to ensure compliance of construction documentation and design specifications with contractual scope of work, codes and standards, regulations, design guides, construction budget and design delivery schedule. Manage various pre-design services including DoD planning, programming, feasibility studies, facility condition assessment, site selection, and cost analysis. Prepare and deliver oral and written presentations on the design and production of projects; present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients. Lead reviews with government agencies and various other jurisdictional agencies for code compliance. Assist with managing the performance of design quality, financial, and strategic goals.
