Junior Underwriter

Responsibilities :

• Manage a book of business through collaboration with an Underwriter
• Record applications, create binders, and process policies and endorsements efficiently
• Bind risks, generate invoices, and manage essential technical data
• Review renewal applications, issue renewal letters, and perform preliminary underwriting tasks to prepare quotes for approval
• Support new business development initiatives
• Request and track inspections; manage endorsement requests and referrals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail agents, following up on any outstanding information necessary for underwriting completion
