Our beautiful pain clinic in Wilmington, NC is currently seeking a full-time medical assistant to assist with patients and in-office tasks. Here at ECPC, we value our patients and want to get to the root cause of pain. We use a multi-modal approach to pain management which allows us to treat pain at the source. Long gone are the days of sending patients on their way with medication. We are dedicated to helping patients build a better quality of life through innovative and state-of-the-art techniques and procedures. Whether it's assisting during a procedure, or scheduling another procedure, our medical assistants are there to ensure our clinicians and patients have the support they need when they need it.

Job Summary :
The Medical Assistant is a vital role to the pain clinic. The Assistant will utilize both clinical and administrative tasks to help clinicians in the pain clinic. Daily responsibilities include checking-in patients, assisting the physician before / during / after procedures, in addition to various administrative tasks such as conducting prior authorizations and documenting medical information into the electronic medical records (EMR) system. The Assistant must be attentive to patient needs and communicate any potential issues to staff. The Medical Assistant identifies patient needs, provides safe and professional care, and communicates any needs to the provider.
