OVERVIEW Alera Group is looking for a Personal Lines Assistant Account Manager. - Provide administrative and service support to Personal Lines Account Managers and Producers.
- Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and other service requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in preparing insurance proposals, renewal reviews, and policy documents for client delivery.
- Maintain accurate records in the agency management system.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding billing, coverage, and documentation.
- Follow up with carriers and clients on outstanding documentation or requests.
- Issue certificates of insurance, ID cards, binders, and evidences of insurance as needed.
- Ensure all activities are documented and comply with agency workflows and procedures.
- Support the team with special projects, audits, and account clean-up initiatives QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service, administrative, or insurance-related role preferred.
- Current Property & Casualty license or willingness to obtain within 6–12 months of hire (as required by state law).
- Familiarity with personal insurance coverages (e.g., auto, home, umbrella, recreational vehicles) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with agency management systems preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
