job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location's needs. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall environment and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives as required. Assist visitors, tenants, and staff with general inquiries and directions within the location. Maintain awareness of surroundings to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity. Complete required reports and logs accurately and in a timely manner as directed by Allied Universal policies and client requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
