Description : Automation Controls Specialist Central job duties to include :
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for automation and control systems.
- Design and implement control logic, including ladder logic, function block, and structured text programming.
- Install, test, and maintain control panels, HMIs, and industrial networking systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Configure and integrate VFDs, sensors, and other automation components into control systems.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and optimize automation solutions.
- Ensure compliance with UL 891, UL 1008, and other relevant electrical standards.
- Provide technical support to production teams, field service technicians, and account managers.
- Document programming changes, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations.
- Assist inside sales with quotes and bill of materials.
- Monthly out of state site visits and service calls
Must have a clear background and valid driver's license. Requirements :
