job_description.job_card.job_descriptionRequired Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA license 5+ years of experience in public accounting A thorough understanding of individual, partnership, S‑Corp, C‑Corp returns, research, and general business planning knowledge Technical expertise in tax planning and execution for Energy clients Preferred Qualifications : Master’s degree in Accounting or related field Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff Strong relationship management and practice development skills Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients Competitive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance) 401(k) plan Flexible scheduled time off (STO) Minimum of 56 hours of sick and safe leave 11 holidays and 2 scheduled recharge days In-house CPE and learning opportunities through Learning & Development
Position Profile
Weaver is looking for a Tax Manager with Energy experience to join our growing firm. This role provides federal tax compliance and planning services to Weaver’s Energy clients, develops advanced knowledge in this niche, and trains and mentors other staff members.
Responsibilities
- Provide federal tax compliance and planning services to energy clients.
- Develop advanced knowledge in the Energy tax niche.
- Train and mentor other staff members.
