Job Description

The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for designing both new products and components, with a primary focus on new product development. The role involves using SolidWorks to create designs in both 2D and 3D. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of a new single-use probe, which includes machined plastic parts welded together, sheet metal enclosure pipe parts, and wire assembly components.

• Design new products and components using SolidWorks in both 2D and 3D.
• Focus primarily on new product development.
• Contribute to the design of a new single-use probe.
• Work with machined plastic parts, sheet metal enclosure pipe parts, and wire assembly components.
• Support sustaining work as needed.

Work Environment

The Mechanical Designer will work onsite 100% of the time as part of a team with two other mechanical engineers. There is no remote flexibility and no opportunity for extension, as the role supports a backlog of work within the design team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain exposure to new product development and work within a regulated industry.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.06 / hr.
