POSITION SUMMARY

This position supports the development and maintenance of efficient safety programs, processes, and tools designed to promote best-in-class safety and operational performance. The primary focus of this role will be to implement USG safety programs and advance a culture of safety within USG’s Phillips and Clinch-On locations. This is a training assignment designed to prepare the incumbent for future roles in Corporate Safety Management.

This position is fully remote with up to 40% travel. Onboarding in the first few months will be in Omaha, Nebraska

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General Safety Systems Support

• Oversee the implementation of USG model programs, other safety programs, and safety training at Phillips / Clinch-On locations.
• Work with the safety management team to enhance existing and develop new best-in-class programs, processes, and tools for use across USG locations.
• Support the maintenance and promote the use of existing and new safety technology solutions (e.g., CORE, 3E, Open Range, etc.).
• Oversee the collection of safety data, including leading indicators, and prepare routine analyses to uncover trends and ensure the proper deployment of safety resources.
• Monitor and research potential safety regulatory changes, and recommend actions to ensure continued compliance.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
