Location : Hartford CT (Onsite) - Open to local candidates from Hartford CT Atlanta GA or nearby states

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in the Property & Casualty insurance industry to lead the design and implementation of scalable secure and innovative technology solutions. The architect will collaborate with business and technical teams to align IT strategy with business objectives and drive digital transformation initiatives across underwriting claims policy administration and customer engagement.

Position : Contract 6 Months

Responsibilities :

Lead the architecture and design of end-to-end solutions in the insurance domain.

Collaborate with stakeholders to align business goals with technology strategy.

Architect scalable secure and resilient systems Azure React and PostgreSQL.

Oversee microservices-based and event-driven architectures.

Ensure compliance with insurance regulatory and data governance requirements.

Drive innovation through AI tools chatbots and self-service digital solutions.

Integrate core insurance systems (Guidewire Duck Creek Majesco) into enterprise ecosystems.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science IT or related field.

12 years of IT experience with 4 years as a Solution Architect in the insurance industry .

Strong understanding of Property & Casualty business processes - underwriting claims policy lifecycle and reinsurance.

Hands-on experience with insurance platforms such as Guidewire Duck Creek or Majesco .

Expertise in .NET Azure React PostgreSQL and Microservices architecture .

Familiarity with AI / ML technologies DevOps practices and Cloud platforms .

Knowledge of enterprise integration (SOAP / REST APIs ESBs) and event-driven systems .

TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture certification preferred.
