Cyber Security Engineer at ispace protects critical systems, satellite communications, and ground control infrastructure from sophisticated cyber threats targeting space operations. They secure mission-critical spacecraft telemetry, command and control systems, and ensure the integrity of satellite data transmissions while maintaining compliance with strict government security standards like NIST 800-53 and FISMA. The role involves safeguarding intellectual property related to advanced propulsion systems, orbital mechanics, and proprietary space technologies from state-sponsored attackers and industrial espionage. They will work closely with our engineers and mission control teams to implement security controls that protect both Earth-based operations and space-borne assets without compromising operational requirements.

The salary posted is a targeted range for budget of position. Base compensation can be negotiated and will be commensurate with experience, skills, education, and training.
