As a Sr. Program Specialist here at Honeywell you will develop and implement strategies to drive operational excellence and improve project delivery. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables will be a key part of your role. You will monitor project progress, ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, and provide guidance to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. You will report directly to our Program Manager and you will work out of our Columbus, Ga area location supporting a federal customer. In this role, your expertise in project management and your ability to drive results and meet demanding goals will play a crucial role in the company's success and its ability to deliver high-quality solutions to its customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guide Engineering and field resources to ensure successful execution of projects
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive operational excellence and improve project delivery
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Provide guidance to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of experience in Project management
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex Construction projects on time and within budget
  • Strong guidance and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and people-oriented skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Project management within the engineering or building automation field.
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
