Your role is to work with general supervision and direction on average sized projects, and as a team member of a larger project under the guidance of a Project Manager. You will be responsible for daily inspection efforts on multiple complex, large, and / or diverse projects in order to ensure contractor's operations comply with project plans, specifications, and contract documents. You will prepare sketches and assemble data for Field Engineer to utilize when making changes to the project.
Your Key Responsibilities
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Knowledgeable in all areas of the National Electrical Code (NEC) including transformers, high voltage (duct banks) and low voltage transmission / distribution, switchgears, bus feeders, circuits, blueprints, wiring diagrams, generators, distribution boards and final circuits / circuit breakers, Meggar testing, switches, and circuit breakers. Oversees commissioning and ensures as-builts are completed and the systems operating, maintenance and warranty manuals are collected and distributed to our client the Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA). Proficient in the inspection and documentation of electrical system installations and systems maintenance and repairs. Basic skills in math, drafting, and science. Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation. Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite. Takes initiative on tasks and in coordinating with other members of the team. Effectively communicates project issues with contractor, project team and clients.
Education and Experience
Technical degree / diploma / certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and construction experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience. Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay Range
Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - Min Salary $ 79,000.00 - Max Salary $ 114,500.00
