Sales Support Specialist - Life Insurance

Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our Life Sales team as a Sales Support Specialist !

About the role

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will support the sales activities of our internal and external Individual Life Insurance sales team. In addition, you will provide support to advisors and wholesalers regarding Symetra's products and marketing programs. The Sales Support Specialist role offers strong growth potential within the Life Sales team.

What you will do

• Answer the phone line for the Sales Desk where financial advisors and their office call for a number of reasons including but not limited to : product information, information on rates that are associated with our products, illustration requests and service issues. You will own resolution of calls and inquiries received on this dedicated sales support line.
• Educate clients with thought leadership offered by Symetra. This comes by way of conference calls, direct phone calls and Teams meetings. While not product specific per se, this offering strengthens Symetra's value proposition to financial advisors and their distributors.
• Partner with sales team and internal partnerships to drive territory sales through assisting with product inquiries, product illustrations, updates on pending applications, and fulfilling orders for marketing material and sales literature.
• Provide calling campaign assistance launching new products and identifying new sales opportunities.

Compensation

$22.00 - $36.23 / hourly plus eligibility for annual bonus program
