Loan Servicing Specialist

Tremont Credit Union is looking for a Loan Servicing Specialist to support the Loan Originators, Underwriters, Servicers and Credit Union Members with the mortgage and consumer loan process. They will ensure that loan applications are processed accurately and in a timely manner. They may be required to communicate with members, underwriters and third-party vendors. They will perform a variety of clerical and administrative support as needed. The Loan Processing Specialist will ensure that Credit Union processes are followed and will perform Quality Control reviews of loan files.

Key Responsibilities :

• Gather documentation and process applications for all mortgage and consumer loan types.
• Prepare loan estimate disclosures, order appraisals, credit reports, title work, and any other necessary documentation.
• Coordinate loan closings and loan maintenance.
• Answer member calls resolve requests and problems promptly and courteously.
• Maintain internal tracking logs such as payoff requests, title tracking and discharge tracking.
• Daily filing of notes, titles and other loan documents and retrieving all paid loans as needed.
• Scan and archive loan documents.
• Ensure that daily work is compliant with credit union policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of all state and federal regulations as required.
