Shift : Nights – 3x12s (either 3 : 00 PM – 3 : 00 AM or 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

On Call : Not required

Opportunity Overview

HumanEdge is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join a respected acute care facility in Syracuse, NY . This role involves delivering high-quality respiratory care in a fast-paced environment and requires strong independent clinical skills.

Responsibilities

Administer positive pressure and aerosol therapy

Institute and monitor oxygen therapy

Assist physicians with continuous mechanical ventilation

Perform pulmonary function testing

Perform radial arterial punctures

Respond to cardiopulmonary emergencies (CPR)

Provide respiratory care with minimal supervision in an acute care setting

Requirements

A.A.S. in Respiratory Therapy – Required

NYS Respiratory Therapist license / registration – Required

Minimum 2 years acute care experience post-graduation – Required

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Must pass pre-employment health clearance
