Leidos is seeking a Distribution Designer who is passionate about electric utility design engineering. We're looking for someone who is dedicated to ensuring that every project, no matter how simple or complex, is of exceptional quality. You'll be working directly with clients to make sure that Leidos' reputation for high-quality work is always maintained. If you join us in this role, you'll gain expertise in a variety of areas, including NESC, Structural Pole Modeling, Electrical Power Calculations, GIS design training, Field Data Collection, and Client Design Standards. Travel :

This position has remote-working capabilities, but candidates must be located within a commutable distance of our Western PA support areas to be considered, so we can provide support to our local utility customer as needed.

As a Distribution Designer, you can expect to :

• With supervision of a technical lead, perform design engineering for Leidos electric utility customers.
• Contribute to your team's work packages for OH, UG, URD, Make Ready, and Street Light projects, using customer GIS and Work Management systems
• Work with other engineers and design leads on broad client issues including schedule adherence and team quality control; manage scope, schedule, and budget of work assigned.
• Ability to follow standard design guidelines and client requirements.
• Successful candidates must comply with quality control and safe work practices and maintain compliance with project scope, schedule and budget. This position will be a member of a design team comprised of engineers, designers, and CAD technicians and will work with client standards to implement design.

Pay Range :

Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
