Experience with electric drive systems and / or components, with focus on electric induction motor and generator and resistor grids Experience with structured FMEA & DVP&R process. Experience with NPI Issue resolution process.
Responsibilities :
- Assess and plan work to mitigate risk in NTI and NPI programs.
- Work with design leads to establish an initial first-pass test plan early in a program (pick list review to document leverage opportunity, VPD and potential test load).
- Participate in or Plan and Host Simulation and Test Collaboration Workshops (STCW) early in programs, pre-DFMEA to create high-level Validation Plan.
- Communicate progress in Gateway Reviews including System Readiness Summaries.
- Quality approval of FMEA / DVP&R with design managers with key focus of developing standard FMEA's.
- Creation of Proactive Reliability glidepaths.
- Standard work creation, updating, and socialization.
- Project long-term testing needs, including lab space, equipment and people.
- SME for myNPI issues meetings and issue resolution.
- HALT planning assistance but not ownership.
- APQP Oversight.
- Provide technical guidance and capture lessons learned.
- Position involves working in a team environment on challenging, new product programs that include electric drive technology and will support a + strong team of engineers and technologists.
