Inpatient General Psychiatry openings in Northern California Located in Napa and Sonoma County J1 and H1b Eligible Immediate openings Adult & Child About the Position Full-time, permanent No travel required Perform psychiatric diagnosis, treatment interpretations and recommendations Provide effective treatment; formulate, implement, and evaluate treatment plans Maintain confidentiality of information in accordance with applicable laws Prepare and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive records, reports, and correspondence Adhere to Medicare Standard level of care and documentation for Billing and Coding Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Average patient load per day is between 12-15 Adult patient population (Child Psychiatrist will see Adolescent and Adult population) 70 bed hospital with an average length of stay 3 days Hospital has inpatient and intensive outpatient program. Compensation - Base Salary - 275-280K- Evenings calls (M-F $250 / night) (10 days / month) - 30K- CME Activity Reimbursement $1500- Sign-On Bonus (paid 30-60 days of starting employment) $10,000- Holiday Coverage Bonus (10 holidays per handbook) $15,000- Productivity Bonus (12 pt. / day) (M-F) + (1 weekend RVU) $48k 120k- Optional Weekend Coverage (1 weekend / month) $36,000- Total potential compensation $440,500 - $512,500 Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Eligible Completion of a residency training program in Psychiatry that provides good standing and approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Valid DEA Certificate Current California license with no prior history of Board action in any other state (or eligibility to obtain) Comfortable with Dictation System and writing daily, currently no EMR in place Medical Group Details Medical Group is one of the largest psychiatric outpatient practices in North bay (North of San Francisco).
