Under the direction of the Dean and Associate Deans, and the MSA Program Director, the Adjunct Faculty Member will teach a graduate-level course in Tax Accounting in the M.S. in Accounting Degree program.

Students explore income taxation fundamentals, empowering students to make informed decisions aligned with personal or client goals. The course covers tax considerations in insurance, investments, benefit planning, intrafamily transactions, and business operations, the course emphasizes planning techniques like income exclusion, deferral, shifting, and strategic income management.

Qualifications

• Love of teaching students and enabling them to significantly enhance their tax accounting skills.
• Experience with Tax Accounting.
• CPAs preferred.
• Oral and written communication skills in the English language at a level that conveys information to and from students, colleagues, and others in an effective manner;
• Awareness of contemporary and critical concerns in the discipline; and
• Interpersonal orientation that encourages productive interactions with students and colleagues.
