GO / Java / JEE Developer

Job Summary for GO / Java / JEE Developer (Menlo Park, CA - Hybrid) :

• Lead the technical design, implementation, and testing of complex server-side applications in the Core Brokerage group.
• Drive integration of new vendor services into the Middle Office platform with focus on stability and scalability.
• Oversee and mentor a technical team to develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable products and platforms.
• Create and review architectural diagrams, interface specifications, and design documentation.
• Balance resources, constraints, and requirements to build effective systems.
• Present architectural strategy options with cost / benefit analysis to leadership.
• Promote best practices, technical standards, and innovative solutions across the organization.
• Collaborate closely with product management and other development teams.
• Solve complex engineering challenges and stay current with technology trends.
• Participate in principal engineer networks to share technical insights and practices.
• Lead and mentor back-end engineers in design and coding best practices.
• Apply expertise in Go or Java / J2EE, with additional knowledge in multiple languages (e.g., C++, JavaScript, Python, Perl, shell scripting).
• Utilize experience with microservices, Kubernetes, REST / SOAP / gRPC APIs, and relational databases (Sybase / Oracle).
• Demonstrate strong object-oriented and service-oriented architecture (OOD / SOA) principles.
• Work in UNIX environments and leverage cloud, service mesh, and container technologies.
• Employ strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Embrace Agile / SCRUM methodologies and manage multiple projects effectively.
