A Day in the Life”
As a Welder you will join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques. You will interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process. You will also inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness. Working individually, you will inspect welding work of others to ensure completeness of work and code compliance. Also flexible to help in various areas of the yard when needed.

Knowledge of codes and industry standards applicable to work performedGood at establishing clear directions and lays out work in a well-planned and organized manner.
