We are presently in a hybrid schedule, 2 days on campus and 3 days WFH u00A0 The Content Programming Specialist provides key support for Marketplace merchandising, programming, and curation and assists with the execution of consumer-facing content marketing. The Content Programming Specialist supports marketing and sales campaigns, and tracks data analytics and performance metrics to maximize OverDriveu2019s sales and market share. This role works across OverDrive teams and content partners on content sales programs, opportunities, and promotions.u00A0

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with the Content Partnership team to obtain and organize information relevant to content sales, including pricing, lending models, special terms, discounts, and participation in promotions.
  • Assist with curation of promotional collections and themed collections in Marketplace and for partner and consumer-facing content campaigns.
  • Organize, tag, and update content on-platform to enhance merchandising potential and maximize title performance.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of content partner catalogs through research from industry sources (e.g., Publisheru2019s Weekly) and interactions with content suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of school and library partner needs through engagement with Sales and Digital Content Librarian teams.
  • Retrieve performance metrics as requested using provided tools. Prepares and provides internal reports on individual and campaign activities.
  • Assist with the content-related data needs of other teams as directed.

Interacts with publishers to develop understanding of their catalog, collaborates on and supports merchandising opportunities.

  • Supports strong content partner relationships through tailored, focused, and consistent engagements.
  • Contributes to development, management, and maintenance of assigned areas of team documentation and information resources in collaboration with team leadership.
  • Requirements :

  • Bacheloru2019s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 0 - 3 yearsu2019 of related experience (library, marketing, book merchandising, retail, etc.).
  • Fluency inu00A0Spanish u00A0(both written and spoken).
  • Merchandising, promotions, marketing experience.
  • Basic knowledge of the book, publishing, entertainment, library, music and digital media industry.
  • Confident and energetic; professional and team-oriented.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Exceptional time management & organization skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage cross-group relationships with other OverDrive teams and content partners.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with partner contacts, outside vendors / contractors and internal staff.
