Description :
A Platform Security Architect focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining the security of a specific platform, such as cloud services, mobile devices, or IoT devices.
Basic Functions
a. Design a network meeting the functional and performance requirements of the SCADA system being supplied by third party vendors and the security requirements of Metro ITS and Wayside Systems.
b. Prepare procurement specifications for the workstations, servers, network equipment and supporting appliances (equipment purchase and logistics by others).
c. Provide the initial network configuration.
d. Prepare installation and system integration test plan and procedures.
e. Oversee installation and testing.
f. Prepare training materials specifically for network security primer, monitoring network health and security Configuration Management, backup and restore.
g. Prepare and provide specific training to third party vendors for the integration of their SCADA system on the Metro provided SCADA network.
h. Assist with the establishment of a Control system Security Program in line with industry’s best practices and Metro IT policy and standards.
i. Attend related meetings as requested by Metro.
J. Deliverables include System documentation as requested, response to technical problems, SCADA network design and implementation technical documents, and Training documentation.
