IT Field Technician I

IT Field Technicians a subset of the Information Technology department are responsible for supporting both Ents employees and end-user IT equipment through on-site technical assistance. This includes promptly and effectively responding to customer requests and problems either directly resolving issues or escalating them to the appropriate resources and monitoring their resolution. Additionally IT Field Technicians support various projects including Ent expansion process improvement and proactive equipment upgrades. The Tier 1 Field Support Technician plays a vital role in providing on-site technical support to our centers ensuring the security and functionality of our IT systems. This position involves servicing centers securing and hardening assets diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues and collaborating with team members to deliver efficient and effective support services.

Essential Functions

• Production Environment Support : Traveling to various centers to provide on-site technical support and hands-on assistance for all workstation-related issues resolving break-fix requests completing proactive monthly visits troubleshooting hardware and software problems and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient and effective support services.
• Project Work : Support Ents expansion and improvement through project related tasks directed by the IT Field Technician Project Lead Project Management and IT Field Support Manager.
• Asset Management : Complete regular audits resulting in accurate records for all end user IT equipment.
• Knowledgebase Article Management : Review knowledgebase articles that Field Support utilizes and contact appropriate IT departments to update outdated articles.
• Bank Secrecy Act : Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Additional Information :

The pay range for this position is : $25 to $27 per Hour (I11)

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience specific skills and competencies education certifications and internal pay equity.

This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance.
