360X Staffing is hiring for DOD Welders in Marinette, WI.

Pay : $29 / hr + $150 daily per diem for days worked

Job Description :

• As a DOD Welder working on Navy Frigate war ships, you will be responsible for welding structural steel and aluminum components, passing rigorous weld tests in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions with a backing strip, with coupons subjected to X-ray inspection for quality assurance.
• Your primary duties will include interpreting welding specifications, preparing materials, setting up welding equipment, executing welds to meet Navy Frigate standards, and ensuring weld quality and integrity through X-ray examination.
• Successful candidates must demonstrate advanced proficiency in structural steel and aluminum welding techniques, specifically in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions with a high level of craftsmanship and precision.
• Working collaboratively with welding inspectors, supervisors, and shipyard teams, you will play a critical role in maintaining the structural integrity and safety of Navy Frigate war ships through your exceptional welding skills.
• This role demands a meticulous approach, adherence to welding standards, and the ability to consistently produce high-quality welds in accordance with DOD and Navy regulations.
